This treatment model stresses good role-modeling by adults, praising for appropriate behavior, and correcting behavior that is not socially accepted. The techniques used by adults within this program make it possible for them to teach children how to succeed in most any social situation. All staff recieve more than 60 hours of pre-service training in this model, as well as on-going training, consultation and evaluation in order to assist them in becoming skillful in this model's use.
